In the aftermath of the floods, many families in Sialkot district were left not only homeless but also vulnerable to sickness and disease. With stagnant water and limited access to healthcare, even small illnesses became heavy burdens. Parents worried about fevers, coughs, and infections, yet had nowhere to turn. This week, Chopan Trust set up a free medical camp to bring hope and healing where it was needed most. More than 150 individuals came seeking help. From children suffering from flu to elderly patients struggling with weakness, each one was carefully attended by a doctor who listened, comforted, and treated with compassion. Medicines were provided free of cost, ensuring that families who had lost everything did not have to worry about the price of basic care. For many, it was the first time in weeks that they felt relief—not just from pain but also from the fear of being left behind. This camp was more than just a medical service.
