Chopan Trust is proud to launch a two-year Literacy Program designed to uplift Christian mothers and young girls, alongside the siblings of students from EROSE School and The Good Shepherd School. This initiative directly supports the United Nations Sustainable Development

Goals (SDGs), particularly:

Goal 4 – Quality Education: Ensuring access to basic literacy skills for underserved communities.
Goal 5 – Gender Equality: Empowering women and girls through education and skill development.

Faith-Based Learning Approach – When mothers can read and write, they pass on Christian values, wisdom, and knowledge to their children.

A Global Need – According to UNESCO, over 773 million adults lack basic literacy skills, with two-thirds of them being women. By focusing on mothers and daughters, we ensure that future generations are educated, empowered, and faith-driven.
