“The future is bright! These students at EROS School are ready to change the world through education. 🌟📚 #QualityEducation #EmpowerYouth”
Chopan Trust is proud to launch a two-year Literacy Program designed to uplift Christian mothers and young girls, alongside the siblings of students from EROSE School and The Good Shepherd School. This initiative directly supports the United Nations Sustainable Development
Goals (SDGs), particularly:
Goal 4 – Quality Education: Ensuring access to basic literacy skills for underserved communities.
Goal 5 – Gender Equality: Empowering women and girls through education and skill development.
Why Focus on Mothers & Girls’ Literacy?
“A new beginning! Literacy opens doors to knowledge, faith, and empowerment. 📖✨ #ChristianEducation #EmpowerMothers”
Faith-Based Learning Approach – When mothers can read and write, they pass on Christian values, wisdom, and knowledge to their children.
Girls’ Education = A Stronger Christian Community – Educated girls grow into empowered women, strengthening churches, schools, and society.
Breaking the Cycle of Poverty – Literacy opens doors to employment, economic stability, and better living conditions for Christian families in need.
A Global Need – According to UNESCO, over 773 million adults lack basic literacy skills, with two-thirds of them being women. By focusing on mothers and daughters, we ensure that future generations are educated, empowered, and faith-driven.
“Education starts with opportunity. Thanks to our generous supporters, mothers and young girls are equipped to learn and grow! 🎒📚 #SupportLiteracy #DonateForEducation”
